Born out of lockdown 2020. When the world is going through a change its easy to focus on the negatives, thats why we want to shift our focus to understanding our fears and confronting them.
With everything thats going on in the world right now its important that we go back to basics. Looking after your mind, your body and your spirit so that you can tackle whats in front of you. 2020 wasn't easy and theres no guarantee that it will ever be any easier, so its best to prepare yourself for the challenge than succumb to the task.
Drop isn't just about changing peoples opinions on Cannabis. This is just one of our goals. Something that has been tarred with a negative brush for the last 50 years even though its been a part of different cultures for thousands of years has really halted the progress into understanding more about this plant.
Thankfully there are some open minded people who's challenging what was once thought and as a society we are beginning to accept it again. We will do our best to help inform people with what is going on with Cannabis, the good and the bad, so you can make your own mind up to see if its right for you.
Drop is also about helping yourself and helping others. Which is why with every purchase of our products you will receive a BillyChip! A token worth £2 each that when given to someone they can redeem it in participating shops and restaurants. Homelessness is a big struggle and I for one have been very grateful that I’ve got a roof over my head, heating to turn on and water in the tap. By sharing this donation to someone in need, you have made a huge difference in someone else’s life, even as little as being able to get a snack or a hot drink. The final goal that we aim to achieve is providing a space where we can have a conversation about topics that would usually be dismissed. My main focus is going to start with topics that I can relate to such as ‘Cannabis not being as bad as what you may believe’, ‘Mental health (for men in particular but it is just as important for everyone) and ‘Being curious about going against the grain’. By no means do I claim to have any right answers, all I can talk about with confidence is my own experience and my thoughts surrounding it. The goal with this is to allow others to have the confidence to also take part of this conversation without being labeled as anything or stereotyped just because they are curious about something!
I’m excited to see what can happen next, if we have similar motivations or even total polar opposite get something written down and go after it! You're the main character, if you don't start deciding your life someone else will decide it for you.
